Los Angeles Area Gardens

Los Angeles has several special gardens for children of all ages.

Many of our gardens have been featured in movies.  Others might have a train or a special children’s section.

The Arboretum

A large garden that once provided the set of TV’s fantasy island.

301 North Baldwin Ave., Arcadia (626) 821-3222

Conejo Valley Botanical Gardens

Home to both a large Botanical Garden and a children’s garden.

350 W. Gainsborough Rd., Thousand Oaks (805) 494-7630

Descanso Gardens

One of our favorite Train Rides are located in this garden.

1418 Descanso Drive, La Cañada Flintridge (818) 949-4200

Gardens of the World

While not the size of many larger gardens in Southern California, it is immaculately kept up and has a free admission.

2001 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks (805) 557-1135

Huntington Gardens

Famous for the Japanese Gardens.  Also features a Children’s Garden where everything is grown at a child’s level.

1151 Oxford Rd., San Marino (626) 405-2100
